Harriet Burbeck is an illustrator and exhibiting artist who resides in Iowa. She has a MA in illustration from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in studio art from University of New Orleans. Her publications include the book An Illustrated History of Domestic Arthropods, and contributions to The New Yorker, Antigravity Magazine, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and Current Affairs. She is full time faculty at Indian Hills Community College and she regularly teaches study abroad courses for the University of New Orleans in Innsbruck Austria.
